Title: Healing After Hurt – A Faith-Based Recipe for Inner Restoration
Prep Time: A lifetime of faith in the making
Servings: Unlimited (Share with everyone you know)
You’re about to prepare something nourishing—not for your body, but for your soul. This is a recipe for healing that mixes raw emotion with unwavering faith. We’ll use ingredients like grief, betrayal, loss, and heartbreak, but we’re going to transform them with the power of scripture, prayer, and reflection. This isn’t just self-help—it’s soul-help. And like every divine dish, this one takes love, time, and truth.

Why I’m the Expert?
I’m not just sharing a recipe—I’m offering a piece of my testimony. I’ve been bruised by betrayal, knocked down by grief, and haunted by heartbreak. But God didn’t let my pain be pointless. IT Had 2 Happen™️. My journey of healing birthed a movement, a book, and a podcast. Now I help others—just like you—turn ashes into beauty and wounds into wisdom. If you’re holding a broken heart, I’ve held one too… and I know the recipe to help you start healing.
Your List of Ingredients
Here’s what often brings us to this moment:
• 2 cups of betrayal
• 1 cup of grief
• 1 tablespoon of rejection
• A pinch of confusion
• 3 scoops of silence from people who were supposed to show up
• A dash of self-doubt
Note: These ingredients are raw—but necessary. Don’t throw them away. IT Had 2 Happen to you for you. God uses broken pieces.
Step 1: Preparation, Cooking & Total Time
Acknowledge the Pain: Stop pretending it didn’t happen. You can’t heal what you hide. (Practice daily until you can acknowledge IT.)
Invite God into It: Healing begins with permission. Give Him the keys to the places you locked up. (Daily. Morning, Noon and Night.)
Sit in Silence: Let the Holy Spirit whisper. Don’t rush the process—healing isn’t microwaveable. (As needed)
Forgive—even when it hurts: Not for them, but for you. Release = relief. (ASAP)
Speak Life Over Yourself: Stop rehearsing what broke you and start repeating what can rebuild you. (All day everyday.)
Step 2: Step-by- Step Instructions
Stir in Scriptures:
• “He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.” – Psalm 147:3
• “The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.” – Psalm 34:18
• “Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing!” – Isaiah 43:18-19
• “And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God.” – Romans 8:28
Stirm in Affirmations:
• “My pain is not wasted. IT Had 2 Happen™️ to prepare me for purpose.”
• “God is healing me layer by layer, and I welcome the process.”
• “I am no longer what hurt me. I am who God says I am—healed, whole, and hopeful.”
• “This breaking is making me brand new.”Reflection Time
Stir in Asking yourself:
• What am I still carrying that God is asking me to release?
• Where did I stop believing I could be whole again?
• Who or what am I still allowing to have power over my peace?
• If healing is a recipe, what step do I keep skipping?
Step 3: Mix Carefully, following each direction
Write a letter to the version of you that got hurt. Let them know how proud you are of their survival—and how committed you are to their healing.
Step 4: Let It Simmer
You’ve just learned how to turn emotional wreckage into a sacred recipe for renewal. You know the ingredients, the steps, the Word, and the inner work it takes. Healing isn’t about forgetting—it’s about being transformed. Every moment of pain was a part of the preparation. And no matter how long it takes, remember: IT Had 2 Happen™️ so you could rise again stronger, wiser, and filled with purpose.
Step 5: Ready To Serve
